Air Supply performed live at MFCC, Ta’ Qali on Friday, 28th August 2015.
The sensational duo, Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock, who form the label Air Supply, were celebrating the 40th year of their music and brought to Malta, their vast repertoire of hits. They performed tunes such as: Just as I am, Two Less Lonely People In The World, Even The Nights Are Better, Lonely Is The Night, Good Bye, Making Love Out Of Nothing At All and many others, accompanied by their band.
British born singer and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock met in Sydney Australia in 1975. Back then they formed part of the cast of the musical Jesus Christ Superstar and met on the first day of rehearsals. They became friends immediately because of their common interests, namely their love for The Beatles music and singing. Initially, the duo played in public places such as bars and restaurants. When they eventually explored new grounds internationally, the tune Lost in Love became the fastest-selling single in the world, in 1980. Their second single All Out of Love topped the charts even quicker. The albums Lost in Love, The One That You Love, Now and Forever and The Greatest Hits sold more than 20 million copies.
CMC Promotions are proud to bring this duo to Malta. Undoubtedly this was one of the biggest concerts which was held in Malta in 2015, CMC Productions state, Air Supply performed live, accompanied by their band to ensure a great spectacular concert. This concert was part of the worldwide tour to mark their 40th anniversary, and, was a golden opportunity for all Maltese and Europeans, because Malta was one of the only two European countries where Air Supply have chosen to entertain their fans to mark their anniversary.
