Afrojack 2014

Throughout his career, the Grammy Award-winning producer and DJ Afrojack has collaborated with top A-list musicians including; Pitbull, Madonna, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Leona Lewis, David Guetta and more.

• Afrojack is the winner of two Grammy Awards, first for his work on Madonna’s “Revolver” in 2011 and again for Chris Brown’s “Look At Me Now” in 2012.

• Afrojack has hit the Billboard charts many times, including hitting #1 on the Billboard charts for his work on the smash hit “Give Me Everything” with Pitbull ft. Afrojack, Ne-Yo and Nayer. The track also placed on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts.

• The 26-year-old artist has already performed at the world’s most iconic music festivals, including EDC New York, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Coachella, Ultra, Tomorrowworld in Belgium, and more.

• Afrojack recently released his newest single, Ten Feet Tall, off of his forthcoming album. Bud Light premiered the track to the world when it aired during their XLVIII Super Bowl commercial on February 2, 2014.

• This spring the producer and DJ will kick-off his new DJ residency with Hakkasan Las Vegas, the strip’s newest mega-club at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Afrojack will join fellow resident artists including Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Above & Beyond, and more.

• In 2013 Afrojack added ‘Fashion Designer’ to his title by teaming up with G-Star Raw to create his first designer capsule collection. The limited-edition collection was so popular it completely sold out within a few short months.

• Throughout his career Afrojack has produced and co-written worldwide smash hits such as “Take Over Control,” “Titanium,” “Run The World” and “Give Me Everything.”

• On October 5, 2013, Afrojack became the second DJ in history to place his hand prints in the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame.

• Afrojack made history on October 9, 2013, when he became the first DJ ever to ring the NASDAQ closing bell in New York City’s Times Square.

• In 2013 Afrojack signed with record label, Island Def Jam, and released his first project from the partnership later that year, his single, ‘The Spark.’

• Forbes Magazine crowned Afrojack as #7 on their 2013 list of the ‘World’s Highest Paid DJ’s’; it was his second year in a row being included on the list.

• DJ Mag named Afrojack the #9 DJ in the world in their Top 100 DJ’s issue two years in a row (2012-2013).

• Afrojack has toured North America three times including both of his ‘Jacked’ tours in 2012 and ‘The Spark’ tour in 2013.

• Afrojack staked his claim in Las Vegas’ flourishing EDM community by becoming one of the first DJ’s to sign a Las Vegas DJ Residency. Afrojack’s contract with The Wynn and Encore Hotels on the Vegas Strip completely changed the party and club scene as we know it. His residency included shows at their mega-clubs XS, Surrender, Tryst, and Encore Beach Club.

• In 2007, at age 19, Afrojack created his own imprint, Wall Recordings, with the vision of building a label specifically to retain the club music brand.
