Malta Military Tattoo 2014

The Malta Military Tattoo 2014, will be held on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October. During a press conference held this week the Minister for Tourism Dr. Edward Zammit Lewis explained why events such as the Malta Miltary Tattoo are supported by the ministry.  He said that these occasions, which focus on niche markets, and in this case target those interested in military music and attire, are key to the tourism strategy because they attract visitors with these interests.  He said Malta has a rich military history, and when this tourist segment visits us, one can combine being in Malta with interesting events such as the Malta Military Tattoo.

Alfred Busietta the event promoter said that the Malta Military Tattoo is a very entertaining event, and can be enjoyed by both locals and tourists.  The music and marching,  provided by the bands present in this year’s Military Tattoo, are spectacular and this provides a very wonderful evening out with a difference.  All those who love live music and marching bands, should certainly not miss out!  Mr Gerald Borg said that MFCC is honored to part of this organisation and said that the line up is a very interesting one and offers a variety of music for all to enjoy.  The performers this year are:

O'Shea Ryan Irish Dance Company
Golden Trumpet Jazz Marching Band
Wallace Pipes and Drums
