Information about the Event

We are pleased to announce that this year’s MFCC Malta Trade Fair, which is the 59th edition, opens its doors on Thursday 23rd June and goes on through to Sunday 3rd July. The opening hours are weekdays between 18:30hrs and 22:30hrs. Weekends and Public Holidays from 18:30hrs to 23:00hrs. Entrance Fee is only 2.50 Euro. The trade fair remains the place where consumers get to view a vast number of products all under one roof with the convenience of comparing prices and product quality.

The exhibitors are both local and foreign and this gives the opportunity to the consumers to extend the variety of products within their reach to both local and visiting companies. The fair at MFCC, Ta’ Qali, is constantly proving to be the better fair. Here, both visitors and exhibitors get better and more efficient shopping and selling opportunities. This year the exhibitors exceed 200. The item categories are – alternative energy, home improvements, kitchens, furniture, sofas and mattresses, household appliances, catering equipment, TVs and electronic equipment, aluminum works, doors, garage doors, bathrooms and tiles, outdoor and garden furniture, security systems, musical instruments, cars and electric motorcycles, financial services, telecommunications, travel, Sicilian artisan foods, food products, wellness products, pets and pet food, perfumes and cosmetics, hair and nail products, fashion items, books, arts and crafts and pottery.

 

The shopping opportunity, together with all the other mega promotions offered in this year’s edition make the MFCC Malta Trade Fair a must visit occasion for all the family, here are some of the GREAT promotions available for you this year:

 

You will receive a brochure at home, within it is a voucher for a FREE flight to the Pelegian Islands. Bring this voucher with you to the fair, at the entrance get it STAMPED, take it to the ROCS stand and ask for your FREE flight ticket to the Pelegian Islands. This flight is worth €75. It can only be redeemed at the MFCC Malta Trade Fair between the 23rd of June and the 3rd of July.

 

The entry ticket gives you more value than can be imagined. One part deposit in the urn to win the daily cash prize of 1000 Euros and the other is a voucher to be exchanged for a cruise to Comino with Captain Morgan when another ticket or more are purchased. Here’s how it works. The daily cash prize of €1000 will be drawn daily at 10pm. Make sure you deposit your entrance ticket in the urn before this time. The second part of the ticket redeem at Captain Morgan Cruises when purchasing another.

 

The XIRJA with GALA Supermarket. €28,600 worth of groceries to be won over the 11 day period. Purchase goods at the fair and for every €50 spent you get a ticket to participate in this competition. Deposit the ticket in the urn on the Gala Stand and take a chance at winning the fabulous prize of €50 worth of shopping per week for one year total of €2600. This will be drawn every day at 10.15pm on weekdays and 10:45pm on weekends and public holidays.

 

The Eurozone is the area dedicated to football! Yes, you can watch the Europeans from this area. We are equipped with large screens and free beers courtesy of Carlsberg, the Europeans’ official beer. Here you can purchase a 6 pack of beers to take home with you, and you will be given a ticket to participate in a competition which gives you the opportunity to win a 55 inch TV screen. Try your luck here too! In this area football enthusiasts can watch their favorite teams challenge each other to win the prestigious European Title.

 

TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

Transport arrangements have been made to ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to visit the fair. 

Transport will leave the first location, as listed below, at 18:00hrs, and pick passengers along the routes.

 

Route 1 Valletta -Ta’ Qali following the route outlined below

Valletta (Phoenicia Hotel) – Pieta – Msida – B’Kara Valley – San Anton Gardens – Attard – Ta’ Qali.

 

Route 2 Senglea – Ta’ Qali following the route outlined below

Senglea (Church) – Cospicua (Simons) – Vittoriosa (Café Riche) – Cospicua (Sports Complex) – Zabbar (l-Ewwel Pjazza) – Zabbar (Mina ta’ Hompesch) – Fgura (Keyhole – Tip Top – Gallarija) – Paola (Church) – Ta’ Qali.

 

Route 3 Mellieha – Ta’ Qali following route outlined below 

Mellieha – Xemxija – San Pawl il- Bahar (Veccia – Mecca Marine – Azzopardi Fisheries) – Burmarrad – Mosta (Jupiter – Church) – Naxxar (Vascas – Bandli)- Ta’ Qali

 

Route 4  B’Bugia to Ta’ Qali following the route outlined below

B’Bugia (Terminus – Church) – M’Xlokk (Primary School) – Bir id- Deheb – Ghaxaq (Madonna – Turretta) – Gudja (Palazz ta’ Bettina – Church – Terminus) – Mc Donald’s Stage (on the way to Zurrieq) – Safi (Church) – Zurrieq (Mithna tax- Xarolla – Church) – Qrendi (Pjazza) – Mqabba – Ta’ Qali

 

SHUTTLE SERVICE

 

There is also a shuttle bus for all those who wish to visit the fair using their own transport from Thursday 23th June till Sunday 3th July 2016 between 18:00Hrs and 23:30Hrs
